About this pattern

Each square starts with a raised daisy — a magic circle, a ring of petals, then the classic granny rounds worked around it so the flower sits proud of the fabric. Make a stack of them in whatever colours you like, join them, and finish with the border.

The pattern is split into four short parts: introduction and materials, the daisy square, joining, and the border — each with a photo for every step, so you always know what the work should look like in your hands.

You'll need to be comfortable with a magic circle, single crochet, half double, double crochet, slip stitch, chains and sc2tog.

What you will need

Materials DK / light worsted (#3) yarn in a cream base plus daisy colours (sample: Stylecraft Special DK in Saffron, Cream, Fondant, Candyfloss, Lemon, Spring Green, Sherbert, Wisteria). Yarn needle, scissors.
